That's C for Comic

Has anyone got close to cracking this yet?

I think it's a location in south london....anyone got that?

Pretty sure its coordinates of some kind (note word "coordinated" which is not a standard musical term)
- what does the word "stop" signify ?

Could the stop signify a full stop?
These are the coordinates for St Thomas Hospital (I'm going there)
51.497908
-0.119671
So it could be that format? Not that I know how to read notes...

I have a 2 different locations. Either Norwood or Sidcup.. There's a paintball place in the Sidcup location. Geocache..?

Why did you think st thomas'?

Bonnie Parker said...

oh I don't think it's st thomases. I was just going there tonight, so thought i'd see what the coordinates would be to get a format! I don't know how to read music I'm afraid... although if c=1, i guess the next note up (D?)=2 etc...

comicon ?

If it's comicon the grid reference is 51.489399 -0.197416
does that come close to anything anyone has found?

In the other section Steve M wrote:

"maybe we could use numbers counting from middle C giving 5148984. 9985. 1951. 92481"

so maybe if that's
51.489849985
-0.195192481

that's kind of close? Assuming those numbers are correct?

One set we got was 51.41214 lat. and 0.125102 long., which is tantalizingly close to central London but is actually a park in Sidcup. This place is at the site.. www.combatlasergames.com/

The other was 51.412140, -0.0125102 which is right next to Norwood station. (Credits to Elstob, Robin & Snow). I think Comicon looks more likely and there's a bus stop outside too (STOP)

According to my interpretation:

51.4898409995,
-0.01951092481

Gives a road just outside of Earls Court Exhibition Center. Not surprisingly, there is a comiccon (the LFCC) there this weekend.

Solved.
